How to maintain your skin in tropical country

We all know that summer season already ends but the summer couldn’t let us go from the hotness!! Especially on Surabaya. You guys, this city is dry, hot, crusty, ashy, and easy to make our skin even darker….ugh! It’s all frustrated but you don’t need to be worry. Find the best way to take care of your lovely skin and protect it from the bad UV rays here:

First thing first, don’t ever you forget to put a SUNBLOCK / SUNSCREEN on your face, hand, neck, and any body parts that you want to protect. Why wearing a sun protection? It protects your skin from UV Rays. Sunscreen blocks these rays and reducing the sunburn. The sun may damage your skin and cause cancer, discoloration, lines, wrinkles to your skin. Sunscreen can also prevent premature aging of the skin. The minimum of SPF (Sun Protection Factor) that you can use in 15 to 30. But if you working on the field which stick to the sun for a long time, you may put SPF 50.

Second, you can wear any dark shades in your clothes because it may absorb the UV rays. Some clothes with lighter shades only take 5-6 SPF but dark shades and heavy fabrics can protect your skin from UV rays. Heavy fabrics are inappropriate in summer days? Yes, maybe you can go with something lightweight satin silks or shiny polyesters which can highly protect your skin because they reflect the radiation.

Next, you may find some clothes which consist of UPF (Ultraviolet Protective Factor) like Nike Dri-Fit UV Solar Sleeves or Uniqlo UV Block Jacket for outside activity but still… using sunblock whenever you go outside even it is cloudy. Because UV rays can get through the cloud. If you feel your body gets sweating too much like me, you can wear one of my favorite go to underwear, Uniqlo Airism Shirt! This is my life saver, they can absorb your sweat, hold the odor of your body, and airy. I promise it will not bother every clothes that you wear because the fabric is that thin and lightweight. It doesn’t feel like you wear any underwear. It’s cool right!
